Millbank Street Reconstruction

In 2014, Grand Rapids voters established the Vital Streets fund. This fund dedicates its focus to improving our street conditions. The Millbank Street project is funded by Vital Streets. Construction is expected to happen in Fall 2026. 

Millbank Street (Giddings to Newcastle)

Construction is expected to start in Fall 2026

This is a reconstruction project. Contractors will replace the road and upgrade what is listed below:

  • Reconstruct the street 

  • Water main 

  • Reestablish ditches 

  • Replace some driveway approaches
