Johnston Road Parking Lot
McAlpine and Four Mile Creek Greenway Trails
The parking lot at 11823 Johnston Road Charlotte, NC 28277 that serves McAlpine Creek and Four Mile Creek Greenway trails will have intermittent closures due to greenway trail construction. More information about the McAlpine Creek Greenway Trail extension project can be found at: www.PublicInput.com/51toJ
Little Sugar Creek Greenway (Morehead to East)
As part of the Atrium Health campus improvements, Atrium will be reconstructing the section of trail between Morehead and East Blvd. In addition to replacing the greenway trail, Atrium is also working with Charlotte Water on an interceptor sewer line (which must be installed before the trail can be constructed). Greenway construction completion is anticipated for Late 2024, though that could change pending weather or other unanticipated delays. The greenway trail will be much improved with a 12’ wide trail and angled bridges rather than 90 degree turns. More information: https://www.publicinput.com/LittleSugarAtrium
