Arlington’s first Vision Zero Action Plan, adopted in 2021, outlined actions to improve transportation safety. In October 2025, the County launched an update the Action Plan to cover the next five years on our path to ZERO transportation deaths or serious injuries by 2030.

We used the feedback that community members shared in October 2025 along with safety data and lessons learned to create a streamlined draft Vision Zero Action Plan for your review.
