Vision Zero 2027 High-Injury Network Safety Audit Engagement

Vision Zero 2027 High-Injury Network Safety Audit Engagement

The Vision Zero team has updated the High-Injury Network map for 2026-2028 using the last 5 years of crash data. Now, we're seeking your input as we review 5 of these key corridors and recommend safety interventions to eliminate severe and fatal crashes by 2030.

Map of 5 Vision Zero High Injury Network Corridors designated for safety audits in 2027

Arlington’s Vision Zero High-Injury Network (HIN) identifies streets with the highest rates of injury and fatal crashes in the County. We update Arlington’s HIN every three years. The 2026-2028 HIN highlights the 6.6% of roads where 51% of injury crashes occur.

The HIN designation elevates these roadways for review and action. One of the ways that Arlington prioritizes safety action on the HIN is by conducting in-person safety audits on each corridor that seek to identify immediate and long-term safety projects.

Another key component is gathering feedback from the communities who use these streets. Select a corridor from the menu below and provide your input about your experiences on these streets. You can share feedback on as many corridors as you would like. After you complete your feedback for one corridor, you will return to this page and can select another corridor or submit your responses.

This feedback form will be open through November 1, 2026. Feedback will be used alongside data and observations from the Vision Zero team as part of the HIN Safety Audit process.
