The City of San Antonio Metropolitan Health District invites youth in the community to create an art design and/or poem to support National Diabetes Awareness Month during November 2024. Throughout the month of November, the winning art design and poem will be featured on a t-shirt and other printed material promoting the annual Diabetes Health Fair, which will take place on November 2, 2024 at Palo Alto College.

The Diabetes Health Fair is a community event that focuses on delivering resources and education about the importance of maintaining good health and how to access health care services. San Antonio has one of the highest rates of diabetes found in major cities across our country and the highest rates in Texas.
