PUBLIC NOTICE: 

14-Day Public Comment Period for 
Proposed Clark County Air Quality Regulations 
Sections 101, 102, 103, 104, 105 and 107

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Clark County proposes to adopt an ordinance creating new sections of the Clark County Air Quality Regulations (AQRs) to address control technology guidelines (CTG) RACT requirements to reduce volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions associated with the production of ground level ozone. These rules will establish emissions standards, work practices, emissions control systems, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements, and new permitting or registration requirements.

The new sections will target the following VOC emitting sources:

• Section 101 - Industrial Adhesive Operations
• Section 102 - Gasoline Dispensing Facilities
• Section 103 – Metal and Plastic Coating Operations
• Section 104 – Industrial Cleaning Solvent Operations
• Section 105 – Metal Solvent Degreaser Operations
• Section 107 – Cutback Asphalt Manufacturing and Use.

The Board of County Commissioners will consider the proposed ordinance at a public hearing at 10 a.m. on March 19, 2024, in the Commission Chambers, Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway, Las Vegas, NV.
