This request would expand the uses allowed on the site. Currently, the zoning is intended for agricultural uses and one detached house per 125,000 square foot lot is allowed. Under proposed zoning several residential uses would be allowed including detached houses, duplexes, triplexes, and townhomes. The proposed zoning would allow for smaller lot sizes and more lots to be built. Proposed conditions prohibit dormitory, fraternity, and sorority housing, golf courses, and apartments; limit townhouse buildings to a maximum of 7 units; propose to remove street stub standards of UDO Section 8.4.3.C; and dedicate and construct a greenway path on site.
Existing Zoning: AP & CM
The existing zoning is Agriculture Productive (AP) and Conservation Management (CM). See UDO Section 4 for more details on Special Districts.
Proposed Zoning: R-10-CU & CM
