Round 2 Engagement Survey

Welcome to the second community survey for the East Riverside Corridor Planning Initiative!

The purpose of this survey is to gather input on the East Riverside Corridor Planning Initiative Draft Vision Statement, Preferred Scenario, and Station Area concepts. This will help guide the development of the East Riverside Corridor Vision Plan and updates to the East Riverside Corridor Regulating Plan.

The survey consists of 13 questions and should take approximately 10–15 minutes to complete. Please answer all required questions on each page before proceeding to the next page of the survey. The survey will remain open through September 7, 2026. Thank you for your time!

Project Background

The East Riverside Corridor Master Plan and Regulating Plan, adopted in 2010 and 2013, respectively, provide a vision for the East Riverside Corridor and determine what can be built in the area. In the last decade, the area along East Riverside Drive has experienced significant growth and investment, and the corridor will be further transformed by the Austin Light Rail line currently being implemented as part of Project Connect. In 2024, Austin City Council directed staff to align the East Riverside Corridor Plan with the City’s Equitable Transit-Oriented Development (ETOD) framework. Updating the plan will help ensure the area grows in a way that supports equitable outcomes, is well coordinated with the future Austin Light Rail, and reflects the evolving needs of the community.
