This is a proposed text amendment to multiple parts of Section 7-5-9, Section 7-11-1, and Section 7-11-8 of the UDO.
The amendment proposes to increase the size of a private development project that can be reviewed and approved administratively rather than by City Council vote within certain zoning districts to remove regulatory barriers and encourage the development of housing along transit-supportive corridors.
In the current code, any residential development containing 50 or more units must receive conditional rezoning approval from City Council.
