What's Happening?

The City of Asheville Business Inclusion Office will host an in-person event for SMWBE Businesses at the fire department near Pack's Square Park on June 29, 2024. The event will feature an opportunity to better understand the areas where the City spends its procurement dollars, where contracting opportunities lie, and our ABI program. It will also include how to register your business as a vendor with the city, a presentation on the Mountain Community Capital Fund, and a networking opportunity. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

What is the ABI Office?

The Asheville Business Inclusion Office (ABI Office) is responsible for supporting the implementation of the City of Asheville Business Inclusion Contracting Policy passed by the Asheville City Council on October 27, 2020.

The Business Inclusion Office for the City of Asheville actively seeks to identify minority- and women-owned businesses for opportunities to participate as providers of goods and services to the City.
