Culture Workgroup Application

Culture of Caring is Mecklenburg County’s organization-wide effort to strengthen how we work together—by building trust, empowering employees, improving communication, recognizing great work, and supporting one another while we serve our community.

We are moving from our research phase to action phase which includes establishing the Culture Team and Culture Workgroups. Employee insights are essential to the success of our culture initiatives.

Interested in lending your voice and time to this important work? Please complete the following application by April 16.

Culture Workgroups:

Workgroups will be established for each of the recommendations.
Workgroups will meet at least 1/month (in-person) with an expectation for collaboration/contributions outside of the regular meeting date/time. Workgroups will determine their own meeting cadence.
Any interested employee must meet the following criteria:
- No employee relations issues;
- Minimum of 2 years of service;
- Commitment to attend monthly meeting and active participation; and
- Approval by supervisor to participate.
