Town Manager Search Survey - Residents

The Town of Zebulon’s Board of Commissioners will begin the search for a Town Manager this summer. Resident input is important. We expect to launch recruitment shortly after the August 5th presentation of survey outcomes to the Board of Commisioners.

According to the North Carolina General Statute, the Town Manager serves as the chief administrator of the town, responsible to the council for executing municipal affairs and ensuring laws and policies are implemented. They have authority to appoint, suspend, and remove town staff (except the town attorney and town clerk), oversee city departments, prepare the budget, and provide reports to the council.
