RIDSP Committee Participation
RIDSP Committee Participation
If you are interested in becoming more involved in Rhode Island's planning processes, we would like to hear from you! It takes as little as two to three (2-3) hours a month to serve on one of the four principal advisory committees to the State Planning Council. Please review the Committee descriptions, and then, if you would like to be considered as vacancies occur, submit a letter of interest and a resume or background narrative. We are accepting interest all year, although, unless there is a vacancy, revolving three-year appointments take place in the fall.
Technical Committee
This committee reviews State Guide Plan elements, the annual work program (UPWP), and other major plans and reports, as well as providing input on technical subjects as requested by State Planning Council. The Technical Committee meets quarterly.
