Local Charlotte Artists Needed: Request for Qualifications
The City of Charlotte is excited to announce the opportunity for local artists to work with the West Boulevard community on two incredible placemaking projects. The first is a mural project at the I-77/West Boulevard underpass. The second is a commemorative marker project to celebrate people, places, and moments in time throughout the community.
Both projects have their own "request for qualifications" documents. Please read each document for application details and apply to each project individually, Each project has its own set of qualifications, deliverables, and City of Charlotte staff contacts. Key Dates for Both Projects
Monday, November 21st | RFQ Released |
Monday, December 19th at 12:00 PM | Deadline for artists to ask questions about the RFQ process. |
Wednesday, December 21st at 11:59 PM | RFQ response submission deadline. |
Monday, January 2nd to Friday, January 27th | Review of submissions by City staff & neighborhood leaders. Selection of final submission |
Monday, January 30th at 9AM | Submission awarded |
