Climate action planning is identified by the Board of Supervisors as a top priority for Emerald Valley in its FY2025-2026 Strategic Plan and advances the vision of a thriving, vibrant community for every resident. Emerald Valleyy has been focused on developing a Climate Action Plan (CAP) and is continuing existing programs and introducing new ones to lower community-wide greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. We are beginning to develop an up-to-date GHG inventory to reflect our current emissions and track progress over time.
