Redwood Road NB to 6200 South WB - LEFT TURN will be closed for approximately 2 weeks during transition to new signal and CFI configuration.

Continuous Flow Intersection (CFI)

A continuous flow intersection is an intersection design that allows left-turning traffic and through traffic to move simultaneously. This configuration is already operating from 6200 South eastbound to Redwood Road northbound. A new CFI section is being constructed from Redwood Road northbound to 6200 South westbound. This will allow traffic to move more efficiently through the intersection.

July 24, Pioneer Day

Construction activities will pause in observance of the Pioneer Holiday from Tuesday, July 23, through Thursday, July 25.

Construction Activities

  • Pedestrian ramp reconstruction.
  • Sign post and sign installation.
  • Traffic signal work.
  • Temporary roadway striping.

Drivers

Pay attention to shifting travel lanes, anticipate delays and use alternate routes when possible. Use caution driving through the work zone, follow posted signs, and reduced speed limits.

There are adjacent projects taking place in this area, which could further delay travel time. Please be aware and plan ahead.

*Construction schedule is subject to change due to weather, utility, and materials delays
