Project Updates

TEMPORARY RAMP CLOSURE:

• Construction crews will pave the off-ramp from I-80/I-215 to Parley's Way beginning at midnight on Friday, October 28, and continuing through Sunday, October 30.  
• The ramp will be closed to traffic while this work takes place.
• Eastbound motorists will be detoured to 3300 South to continue east from Foothill Dr.
• Southbound motorists will be detoured to Stringham Avenue to continue south from Foothill Dr.

Please remain alert to lane shifts in the area and follow posted signs in the work zone.

Project Overview                   

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) renewed Foothill Drive from 2100 East (near 1100 South) to Stringham Avenue. This project resurfaced the roadway and reconstructed various pedestrian access ramps.

Surrounding Residents & Businesses Can Expect:

• Traffic delays, lane shifts, and detours
• Construction equipment and vehicles in the area
• Increased noise, dust, and vibration

For your safety and the safety of others, stay alert and be aware of construction workers and equipment near travel lanes. Exercise caution and be prepared to stop for the temporary traffic signals. Pedestrian access in work zone areas is restricted.
