Reimagine the McKinley
Reimagine the McKinley
The City of Revere is partnering with Studio Luz and MassDevelopment to conduct a two-month visioning process to reimagine the future of the former McKinley School building. Led by Studio Luz, the McKinley School Revisioning Process will take place from March through April 2022.
Through community meetings, workshops, and surveys, this phase will develop a shared vision for the future of the McKinley School. At the end of this process, Studio Luz will incorporate this vision into conceptual plans for the building’s interior and exterior spaces. These plans will give the City a blueprint for rehabilitation of the building, and support City staff in developing funding strategies, partnerships, and programs in support of the project vision. This project advances community goals in the Next Stop Revere Master Plan (2020) and Revere Workforce Development Plan (2021). Visit the Additional Background section on this page for more information.
