We welcome your input! King County has finished 30% design of the project. If you would like to review and provide input on the design, please visit the project webpage. Email your comments or questions to Chrys Bertolotto by June 30, 2023. Comments received will be considered during the next step in the design. We look forward to hearing from you.

The King County Flood Control District (District) is a countywide special purpose district created to provide funding and policy oversight for flood risk reduction capital projects and programs in King County. The Flood Control District’s Board is composed of the members of the King County Council. The Water and Land Resources Division of the King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks develops and implements a majority of the District’s approved flood risk reduction projects and programs.

The Water and Land Resources Division of the King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks implements a majority of the approved flood risk reduction projects and programs.
