The DC Office of Planning (OP) is excited to kick off the Congress Heights Small Area Plan and begin working alongside the Congress Heights community to co-create an equitable development plan. This plan will address: public space; housing access; economic development and retail; transportation and connectivity; resiliency; and pandemic recovery.
The first Town Hall Meeting will take place Thursday, December 3rd at 6:30 pm. There are two ways to join in:
During this Town Hall, the project team will share how this Small Area Plan will reflect community needs and priorities, establish a vision for the future of Congress Heights, and guide District agency investment. The team will also explore the many ways we will work together through this process, hear your comments and concerns, and answer questions about the planning process.
