This work marks the final phase of construction for the Carter Ann Patton Stormwater project. We appreciate the community’s continued patience and cooperation as we complete these enhancements. Starting Week of May 5:

Traffic control will be set up at:

Once work is complete at the SE corner of French Broad Ave, crews will move to the NE corner of the same intersection.

A truck detour for the southbound closure at Clingman Ave will be in place via Coxe Ave to Hilliard Ave, then back to Clingman Ave.

Night closures beginning Wednesday, May 14 from 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Wednesday, May 14: Closure of Clingman Ave & Patton Ave intersection for milling and overlay work.

Thursday, May 15 (estimated): Closure of French Broad Ave & Patton Ave intersection for milling and overlay work.

Paving will also take place on Carter St and N Ann St (north of Patton Ave) during this time.

This is the remaining construction work for this project. Once paving is complete contractors will plant trees in identified areas and the project will be complete.
