Good Morning,
We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to inform you that the Patton Sidewalk Accessibility Improvement Project is temporarily delayed as our team focuses on recovery efforts following Tropical Storm Helene.
Our priority is to support the community’s recovery and ensure that critical infrastructure is restored as quickly as possible. We appreciate your understanding as we navigate these unforeseen challenges.
To date, our crews have removed and replaced approximately 795 feet of sidewalk. Public Works crews have completed all sidewalk replacements on the north side of Patton Avenue and are now working to schedule the remaining work to be completed at the ramp at 92 Patton Avenue, in front of Thirsty Monk. Construction is almost halfway through this corner. Following the completion of this ramp staff will work to schedule tree planting for early Spring.
We will provide an updated project timeline as soon as it becomes available and will keep you informed every step of the way.
Thank you for your patience and support during this time. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Best regards,
Jessica Hughes
