Three Ways to Weigh In
If you’re looking for a way to share your input with the Town – you’ve come to the right spot! We currently have three surveys available for community members to share feedback:
- Environmental Priorities Survey: The Environmental Advisory Board wants to learn about your environmental priorities and get your ideas on how we should preserve our natural environment. Share your input now through May 14th
- Housing Plan Update Workshop Experience and Survey: The Housing Plan, previously adopted in 2021, is being updated to stay consistent with market trends and current housing situation. Even if you missed the recent Housing Plan Update workshops you can still learn about housing issues and provide your input on the future of housing in Apex. Take the survey now through May 12th.
- Salem Street Crosswalk Mural Feedback: There’s a new mural coming to town! The Public Art Committee is asking for feedback on a proposed mural on Salem Street. Give your feedback by May 25th.

Coming Soon! MyAccount Utility Portal
As part of our ongoing commitment to enhance customer service for Apex utility customers, the town is working to bring you a new online utility portal – MyAccount. This new portal will replace eSuite, and brings a host of new features, including:
- New Payment Options: A variety of new payment methods will now be available, including Apple Pay, Venmo, and PayPal. Additionally, automatic payments can now be scheduled using credit cards.
- Enhanced Usage Insights: Customers will be able to track utility usage in hourly increments, allowing for quicker identification of issues like leaks or high consumption. (This feature requires the newest water meter endpoint – learn more about that at www.apexnc.org/MSU)
- Service Notifications: Users will receive instant text alerts or emails when their bill is ready, and be notified of any service updates.
Stay informed! There’s lots more information to come, so keep an eye on your mailbox for important updates. Our website (www.apexnc.org/billing) will be your go-to resource for any new information on project timeline and next steps.
