The Genesee Transportation Council (GTC), the Metropolitan Planning Organization for the Genesee-Finger Lakes Region, is seeking public review and comment on its draft Public Engagement Plan through June 29, 2026.
The Public Engagement Plan outlines how GTC involves the public in transportation planning. It establishes expectations for staff, member agencies, and project sponsors and applies to major planning activities such as the Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP), Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), and other required plans and federally funded projects.
Public input is essential to help ensure the plan is open, accessible, and effective for everyone in the region.
