LET’S MAKE THE CHERRY HILL TRAIL GREAT!
We are starting to design a 1.7-mile trail segment in the Cherry Hill neighborhood in Baltimore City. This segment will be part of the Patapsco Regional Greenway.
Before we start to plan, we would like to hear from the community. Are you excited about this trail? What do you think about the proposed location? Do you know of anything that could make this route hard to use or build? What suggestions do you have to make the trail beneficial for everyone?
Take our survey online by Monday, April 14! We hope to hear from you!

MAKING EMERGENCY PLANS ACCESSIBLE FOR PEOPLE WITH DIVERSE ABILITIES AND NEEDS
Baltimore City is hosting a special workshop on emergency preparedness for people with disabilities and access needs.
In this workshop, you'll learn the four key steps of emergency preparedness—staying informed, building a kit, making a plan, and practicing it—along with strategies to adapt emergency plans for individuals with access and functional needs. We'll also cover how these needs relate to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), common accessibility challenges, and practical solutions to make emergency plans more inclusive.
📅 Thursday, May 1 from 4 to 7 p.m. (Doors open at 3:30 PM)
📍 The Arc Baltimore – Seton Day Employment Services (6151 Metro Drive, Baltimore, MD 21215)
The workshop is hosted by the Baltimore City Office of Emergency Management, along with the Office of Equity and Civil Rights and the Mayor’s Commission on Disabilities. This event will bring together community leaders, emergency planners, disability advocates, mental health professionals, and service providers to discuss how to ensure emergency plans include everyone. BE THE DRIVER WHO SAVES LIVES - SLOW DOWN IN CONSTRUCTION ZONES
It's Work Zone Awareness Week in April and we want to remind drivers to drive cautiously in work zones and be mindful of workers on or around our roads.
Warning signs and markers are there for a reason — when approaching a work zone, remain alert and slow down for road workers.
