US-89 | Logan River Trail Undercrossing Project
CONTRACTOR OPEN HOUSE

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18 2026 | 6 - 7 PM | LOGAN CITY HALL COMMUNITY ROOM

Our UDOT crews will be resuming work on the undercrossing project as early as Monday, March 23!  Don't miss your opportunity to review the plans and schedule directly with project team members.  We anticipate a robust discussion as moderate to heavy impacts are expected on Main Street travel lanes for up to two months before the project is estimated to be completed this Summer.  This work will tie together the structure from one side of the road to the other.  This critical period of construction will require continuous lane closures in either direction, including some prescribed full-closures of US-89 during nighttime hours.  |  udotinput.utah.gov/loganundercrossing | Sign up for construction updates via Logan City Public Works! – Call or text UPDATES to 801-838-8361 for more information.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) in partnership with Logan City will install a pedestrian culvert undercrossing trail at 600S, located adjacent to the US-89 (Main Street) Bridge in Logan City.  This underpass addresses a critical gap in the trail network, allowing for safe and uninterrupted movement between trails near the Logan River Golf Course and those extending toward Logan Canyon.  It will improve accessibility and safety by eliminating the need for trail users to cross Main Street.
