Open House Events Scheduled for Western Big Branch Area Plan
Over the next nine months or so, the Town of Apex will be updating long-range plans for an area which is historically part of the Friendship and New Hill communities. The area is also located within the western Big Branch Basin watershed, providing the name for the plan – the Western Big Branch Area Plan. Long-range plans guide the vision for future land use considerations and future transportation connections.
Two open houses are scheduled for this August to gather community input on the plan. Drop by anytime between 4 – 6:30 pm to learn more, provide input about concerns, opportunities, and your vision for this area! We’ll discuss land use and development preferences, transportation facility preferences, and transportation needs through a series of activities.
- August 9th – Apex Friendship High School Cafeteria, 7801 Humie Olive Road
- August 30th – New Hill Community Center, 3101 New Hill Holleman Road
