Updates Regarding Utility Billing
We appreciate the community's patience as we work to restore access to all features of our utility billing software, some of which became unavailable following a recent cybersecurity incident. Learn more about the incident and the town’s response at www.apexnc.org/updates.
Information was mailed or emailed (depending on each customer's account settings) in late July to all Town of Apex utility customers.
All information that was sent can also be found at www.apexnc.org/payment. This page is updated frequently as various features are restored. Visit this page to view key points about:
- Creating (or recreating) your online utilities profile
- Amounts due, and timing of billing
- Payment options
- Bank draft status

Four Opportunities to Weigh in on Transportation
It’s important for our regional partners to hear from Apex residents on your priorities for transportation projects! There are four opportunities currently available for you to weigh in:
- Blueprint for Safety – focused on reducing deaths and serious injury roadway crashes in our region of the state
- NCDOT State Transportation Improvement Program - specifies how funds will be spent on transportation projects across the state
- Wake Transit Plan Update – seeks feedback on Wake County’s investment strategy to improve and expand their transit network
- S-Line Mobility Hub - feasibility study to identify a potential location for a mobility hub, to understand the types of mobility hub services and amenities that would best serve the Town, and to determine a cost estimate for future implementation

CIP projects for the upcoming Fiscal Year (July 2024 – June 2025) include:
- Center St. and Chatham St. Railroad Crossing Improvements
- Public Safety Radio Replacement
