Carter Ann Patton Stormwater Improvement Project Update April 3, 2025

I would like to provide you with an update on the upcoming Carter-Ann-Patton project over the next three weeks. 

Week 1 - Work beginning April 7:

• South side closure: Three lanes closed on the south side of Patton Avenue between French Broad Avenue and Clingman Avenue; one westbound lane remains open on the north side.

• Detour: Traffic rerouted to Hilliard Avenue.

• Milling and paving of the eastbound lanes will be completed by the end of the week.

Week 2 - Work beginning April 14:

• North side closure: Three lanes closed on the north side of Patton Avenue between French Broad Avenue and Clingman Avenue; one eastbound lane remains open on the south side.

• Detour: Traffic continues to be rerouted to Hilliard Avenue.

• Milling and paving of the westbound lanes will be completed by the end of the week.

Week 3 - Work estimated to start April 21:

• Night closures at the French Broad Avenue and Clingman Avenue intersections.

• Milling and paving on Carter Street will take place. 

• Scheduled dates for these closures will be shared with you when they are confirmed.
