Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA)

The VITA program provides free income tax return preparation to eligible taxpayers. VITA services are available through April 15. VITA helps working families take advantage of the tax credits they are eligible for. These include the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), Child Tax Credit (CTC), and education credits.

311 Dashboard

The City has recently launches a dashboard for 311 services requests and data contact center performance metrics! The 311 Customer Service Office and the Integrated Community Safety Office created the dashboard to show service requests submitted through 311. This dashboard features a full listing of requests by department, and an interactive map of top locations for service calls. 

Residents can interact with the dashboard to understand trends in calls for service.

Artist Grant Application

Join Arts & Culture to learn about our Fiscal Year 2026 Artist Grants! Info sessions will be in January and February. The sessions will cover the application, eligibility, and timeline. Attendees can bring notebooks and/or laptops to take notes.

Grand Opening: World Heritage Center

Date and Time: Friday, February 7, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Location: World Heritage Center (3106 Roosevelt Ave.)

The City of San Antonio World Heritage Office invites you to the World Heritage Center ribbon-cutting and Tricentennial Legacy Gift dedication. 

The World Heritage Center veranda was made possible through the generosity of the Tricentennial Celebration Commission.

Free and Open to the Public!

Basura Bash

Date & Time: Saturday, February 22, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Location: Waterways around San Antonio

Join the largest single-day waterway cleanup in Texas! Volunteers will collect trash from the banks of San Antonio area waterways. All volunteers must complete a liability form to take part in Basura Bash.

Upcoming Job Fair: Pre-K 4 SA

Date and Time: Saturday, Feburary 22, 9 - 11 a.m.

Location: Pre-K 4 SA East Education Center (5230 Eisenhauer Rd.) 

The Pre-K 4 SA Department will be hosting a job fair to fill key positions on their team. They are looking for people to join them for the 2025 - 2026 school year. If you or someone you know is interested in these job opportunities, join us at our upcoming job fair. 

Wanted: Teachers, Assistant Teachers, Teacher Aides (FT/PT), Substitute Teachers (Temporary), and More

Interviews will be held onsite. Attendees should bring copies of their resumes. Interested applicants are encouraged to visit the link below to apply for the Pre-K 4 SA positions before the job fair. 15th Annual City Manager's 5k Walk & Run

Date and Time: Saturday, March 29, 8 a.m. (Race Start)

Location: SeaWorld San Antonio (10500 SeaWorld Dr.)

The City of San Antonio invites you to join us at the 15th Annual City Manager's 5k Walk & Run! This year's family-friendly health and wellness event will be held at SeaWorld San Antonio. It includes awards for top finishers, music, City mascots, and a fun atmosphere for all. 

Registration Fee: $10 (now - March 17), $15 (March 18 - 28)

You can purchase an event t-shirt for $5.
