Carter Ann Patton Stormwater Improvement Project Update August 26, 2024

I am writing to provide you with an update regarding the ongoing Carter-Ann-Patton Stormwater Improvement project. 

New traffic control pattern beginning August 27

Crews will be installing a new stormwater system on Tuesday, August 27. During this work all westbound traffic will be closed and detoured (see map below) Eastbound traffic will be reduced to one lane traveling into downtown. 

While we understand the inconvenience this lane closure may cause, drivers are encouraged to consider using I-240 or explore other available alternate routes to navigate downtown efficiently. If an emergency arises in these locations, we will make every attempt to assist emergency personnel with access.

We understand that construction activities may cause inconveniences, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time.
