Register to Vote

The City of San Antonio will hold a General Election for a new Mayor and all 10 City Council District seats on May 3, 2025. Early voting starts Aprill 22 and ends April 29, 2025. This will be the first election for 4-year terms for City Council, which voters approved in the November 5, 2024 Charter Election. Visit SA.gov/Clerk for Voter Information.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA)

The VITA program provides free income tax return preparation to eligible taxpayers. VITA services are available through April 15. VITA helps working families take advantage of the tax credits they are eligible for. These include the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), Child Tax Credit (CTC), and education credits.

SAPL Women's History Month Events

Celebrate Women's History Month at San Antonio Public Libraries! Several branches will host special movie screenings and events. These events will celebrate women's contributions throughout history.

Mission Marquee Farmers Market

The return of spring means the return of the Mission Marquee Farmers & Artisans Market! The Markets are every first and third Saturday of the month from March through November. Find fresh, local foods and explore handmade products from pop-up vendors.

Markets are family-friendly and free to attend. Free parking is available on-site.

Climate Ready Neighborhoods Meeting

Date and Time: Thursday, March 20, 9 a.m.

Location: San Antonio Mennonite Fellowship (1443 South Saint Mary's Street)

The theme of this Climate Ready Neighborhoods Network Meeting will be Resilient Communications. 

Climate Ready Neighborhoods is a movement of community groups increasing climate resilience across San Antonio. The meetings are also open to community members interested in joining the Network. 

Food Systems Summit

Date and Time: Friday, March 28, 9 a.m.

Location: St. Philip's College (1801 Martin Luther King Drive)

This Summit allows residents to better understand our local food system. Attendees will explore how to strengthen our local food ecosystem. Join us to engage with local experts and connect with fellow community members. Together, we can create a more sustainable food future!

15th Annual City Manager's 5k Walk & Run

Date and Time: Saturday, March 29, 8 a.m. (Race Start)

Location: SeaWorld San Antonio (10500 SeaWorld Dr.)

The City of San Antonio invites you to join us at the 15th Annual City Manager's 5k Walk & Run! This year's family-friendly health and wellness event will be held at SeaWorld San Antonio. It includes awards for top finishers, music, City mascots, and a fun atmosphere for all. 

Registration Fee: $10 (now - March 17), $15 (March 18 - 28)
