Good Afternoon,
I would like to provide you with an update on the Patton Avenue Sidewalk Improvement Project.
Completed Work
Over the past few weeks, crews have removed and replaced approximately 85 feet of sidewalk. Despite facing challenging weather conditions and taking extra care to maintain access to businesses.
Traffic Impacts
Please note the current traffic control measures have been adjusted and shifted further down Patton Ave., as illustrated in the map below. We are making every effort to reopen the lane periodically in the afternoons and on weekends to minimize disruption.
Upcoming Work
In the coming three to four weeks, work will continue across the front of 109 Patton Ave. and DragonFly Salon.
Don’t forget to register for Patton Ave. Corridor update meetings
The City of Asheville is hosting a series of meetings to provide routine public updates on City projects impacting the Patton Avenue corridor. The meetings will be held virtually at 10 a.m. on August 12 and September 9. These meetings will serve as a platform for us to share progress and discuss any upcoming work. We encourage all who are interested to attend these meetings.
If you would like to attend this meeting please email jhughes@ashevillenc.gov to register. Once registered, you will receive a calendar invite by email with details on how to join the meeting.
Thank you for your continued patience and support as we work to improve the public infrastructure along Patton Avenue. If you have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Best regards,
Jessica Hughes
