The purpose of this virtual meeting is to share information about ZMA201900003 Albemarle Business Campus (formerly known as Royal Fern) and to provide an opportunity for community members to submit comments and questions about the proposed project. This is also a special meeting of the 5th & Avon Community Advisory Committee (CAC).
This meeting is being held pursuant to and in compliance with Ordinance No. 20-A (6); An Ordinance to Ensure the Continuity of Government During the Covid-19 Disaster.

PROPOSAL DESCRIPTION | Request to rezone 10.17 acres from Residential (R2), 0.58 acres from Commercial Office (CO), and 2.88 acres from Residential (R10) to Neighborhood Model District (NMD). NMD allows residential development (3-34 units per acre) mixed with commercial, service, and industrial uses. A maximum of 150 residential units is proposed for a density of approximately 11.01 units/acre. A maximum of 396,000 square feet of non-residential space is proposed. |
