Homer: West Hill Road Pavement Preservation

Project Purpose and Description

The purpose of this project is to extend the useful life of West Hill Road. This project proposes to rehabilitate the existing pavement from the Sterling Highway to Diamond Ridge Road, including replacement of signage and guardrail, cleaning/re-grading of drainage ditches along the roadway edge, and replacement of drainage culverts, including the culvert at Diamond Creek.

Design

The project is currently in the final stages of design and is anticipated to be completed in summer 2021.

Construction

Advertising for construction bids is anticipated in the winter of 2021/2022 with construction occuring during the summer season of 2022.
