Students with unique accessibility needs often have even less support. Additionally, the technology seems to change so quickly it’s difficult to keep up.
T 1b. Parents, guardians & caretakers of AISD students are not effectively supplied with standardized communication, instructions for use, consistently functioning hardware & expectations of pertinent software platforms & their role in the education process.
T 2. Individuals with unique needs, who have recently migrated to the US, or are not familiar with current technologies sometimes lack fully functioning technology used efficiently for its intended purpose.
T 1a. Faculty & Staff that interface with technology are not effectively supplied with standardized communication, relevant training, consistently functioning hardware, & roll-out procedures to raise awareness of existing resources & forthcoming changes.
T 4. Students with unique accessibility needs at school facilities with SPED programming lack vetted & tested accessibility software.
T 5. Students in schools where faculty are needed to perform multiple, disparate roles lack training & resources to support current, purposeful technology to support the constantly changing learning environment.
