Insufficient Staffing/Allocations
Insufficient Staffing/Allocations
Discussion of Problem Statement: The way the district distributes the limited funding it has to provide Visual and Performing Arts programming is producing inequitable access to the programs. This includes instructional and administrative staffing.
VAPA 2a. Lack of VAPA staff disproportionately and negatively affects students who are historically underserved.
VAPA 2c. Lack of district-level VAPA administrators negatively affects all VAPA programs.
VAPA 5a. Lack of all staff disproportionately affects students who are historically underserved.
ACTE 1. Historically ignored students (economically disadvantaged, experiencing homeless/foster care, students accessing SPED services, emerging bilingual, immigrant) and struggling learners suffer from inequitable staffing practices that don’t support student and campus needs.
