I continue to advocate for a spring blue grouse season (males only). I primarily target Sooty Grouse. If the fall grouse opener is pushed by
two weeks, that’s not really recompensed by adding two weeks in January, since the high county is snowed out by then (ie it’s simply a two week reduction of realizable opportunity). A short spring season would make up for that lost opportunity, while not risking
poult groups (which was the stated concern of WDFW in proposing the fall new season opener).

Change the scaup limit or provide more data to prove otherwise.

I agree with GMA changes, But eliminating the use of electric decoys for Washington state under the ideas with Bob Harriman and the borderline bass and contenders Is unfair.

The department should consider the possibility of spring time snow goose hunts on private farmlands where the migrating snow geese have historically caused significant crop damage. Farmers should have the ability to apply for and obtain permits for this type of season.

You should provide a map as these reference points are ambiguous to the every day user. Supply a map in the regs. Not hard.

Wish this had been done years ago! Would have made Ringold hunting so much better!

What happened to the proposal for a spring grouse season? I am STRONGLY in support of that proposal.

"Anticipated effects associated with this amendment would be increased hunter participation, increased hunter retention, and ensuring a clean and ethical kill." I support clean and ethical kills but not attempts to increase hunter participation and hunting.
