Welcome

King County, as service provider to the King County Flood Control District, is updating flood maps for the SF Skykomish River. New draft maps better represent flood hazards to SF Skykomish River communities and inform individuals of flood risks to their property.

For more information, please:

  • View the draft report and flood maps online or at the Skykomish library starting Tuesday, March 1, 2022. You may also explore this online hub to view updated flood maps and to learn how flood risk may have changed for your property.
  • Review the presentation from our virtual community meeting on March 30. You can also watch a recording of the meeting.

The 45-day public comment period is now closed. The comment submission form in the “Public Comment” tab below closed on Monday, May 16, 2022.
