Route 83 roundabout at Clintwood (Dickenson County)
Benefits
Design is underway to replace the traffic signal at the intersection of Route 83 and Route 607 (Main Street) in the Town of Clintwood with a roundabout. The roundabout will address safety and efficiently move traffic through the intersection. The roundabout will be constructed by Food City in conjunction with their development of a new store in Clintwood. Food City will convey right of way for the project to VDOT following the completion of the project.
Public Outreach
A location and design public hearing is scheduled for this project:
- June 23, 2022 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Dickenson County Administrative Offices (818 Happy Valley Drive, Clintwood, VA 24228)
The public comment period closes on July 3, 2022.
