Scope
This project proposes to construct an extension of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in an effort to further development of the local road network in the vicinity of Tudor Road and Elmore Road thus facilitating further community development in the area.
Schedule
Preliminary engineering and environmental efforts were initiated this fall and will continue through approximately 2022 depending on the extent of the project's environmental impacts. The project development will adhere to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the MOA's Context Sensitive Solutions (CSS) process. Final design work will follow the completion of the NEPA document. Currently the AMATS Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) shows construction funding being available after fiscal year 2024.
