R-3833C: Brawley School Road (S.R. 1100) Widening
Project Overview
The N.C. Department of Transportation is proposing to widen Brawley School Road from just west of Talbert Road to just east of U.S. 21 in Mooresville. The proposed project will widen Brawley School Road to provide two through lanes in each direction and a median from Talbert Road to just east of U.S. 21 and on U.S. 21 from just north of Dry Dock Loop to just north of Abberly Green Boulevard. Bike lanes and sidewalks will be included on Brawley School Road contingent upon an agreement between the Town of Mooresville and NCDOT. The purpose of this project is to improve the level of service (LOS), travel conditions, and sight distance along the project corridor.
