Along Holloway Street, and other streets along the Route 3 line, the recommendations show new or missing sidewalks, new crosswalks, improved bus stop locations, traffic signals improvements from Downtown to the Village Shopping Center area. These new improvements are intended to make it safer and more convenient to get to your bus stop and wait for a bus, and assure that your bus arrives on time. The recommendations propose new standard items to be included at bus stops along Fayetteville Street and Holloway Street. These improvements include shelters, signs, lighting, benches or leaning rails, bike racks, garbage and recycling, bike racks, and other safety features.
