Laying the groundwork for Austin’s cultural future, the Creative Reset Phase 1 focuses on listening to community voices, assessing existing resources, and identifying opportunities to align the City’s cultural policies with today’s needs. This phase emphasizes equity, inclusivity, and a shared vision for the next generation of Austin’s creative economy.

What is The Creative Reset?

The Creative Reset is a citywide initiative led by Austin’s Office of Arts, Culture, Music & Entertainment (ACME). It is designed to reimagine how the City lays the foundation for a more accessible and sustainable creative ecosystem in Austin.

This multi-phase initative will guide the evolution of the department and establish long-term priorities.
