Board of Supervisors

The Emerald Valley Board of Supervisors serves as the governing body of Emerald Valley, responsible for establishing policy, adopting ordinances and resolutions, approving the annual budget, and setting tax rates. The Board holds regular legislative sessions to hear public comment, consider consent agenda items, and deliberate on matters affecting the community.

The Board consists of five members elected by district to serve four-year staggered terms. Regular sessions are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 9:00 AM in the Emerald Valley Government Center, Board Meeting Room. Special sessions may be called as needed.

Members of the public are encouraged to participate by registering to speak on agenda items or submitting written comments in advance. Each speaker is allotted three minutes unless otherwise noted by the Chair.
