Project Info

Welcome to the public engagement survey for the Town of Franklin's Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan Update. The Town of Franklin has received a planning grant from the North Carolina Department of Transportation’s Integrated Mobility Division to develop a comprehensive bicycle and pedestrian plan. We need your help to ensure the plan reflects the needs and desires of the community. Please complete the following survey by June 29, 2026.

Project Background

NCDOT has awarded a grant from the Planning Grant Initiative to the Town of Franklin to develop Bike Walk Franklin. This new plan will build upon the Town's 2017 bicycle and pedestrian plan. The project is expected to be completed in fall 2026.

Who is it for?

This survey is for everyone who lives, works, or visits Franklin.

How long will the survey be open?

NCDOT will be collecting responses to this survey through June 29, 2026.

What will we do with this information?

Your input will be used to create the Bike Walk Franklin Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan. Once the Plan is adopted, the Town and NCDOT can use it to direct how we build projects, make policy choices, build programs and events, and apply for new types of funding.
