The Neuse River Blueway Plan will be a holistic vision for riparian conservation and water-based recreation, which will inspire residents and visitors of the Triangle to get outdoors, reconnect with Raleigh's largest river and explore everything that the Neuse has to offer.
On March 3rd, City Council approved the Neuse River Blueway Plan!

The Neuse River Blueway Plan is a comprehensive effort led by the City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department (PRCR) to improve public access to and awareness of the Neuse River as a valuable natural resource and recreational asset.
The purpose of the Neuse River Blueway Plan is to promote public awareness of the Neuse River as a recreational and natural resource, create a cohesive Blueway corridor that provides connectivity with the park and greenway system and recommend boat launch design types based on site analysis.
