Background

The purpose of this study is to conduct value engineering of a previously developed project recommendation within Lee County for the Alternate Route 58 corridor segment between N. Combs Road and Cecil Street. This study will focus on improving the project benefits, reducing project cost, and defining project risk. The project recommendations that come from this study will be developed into funding applications for VDOT's SMART SCALE program and other transportation funding programs.

This Phase 2 survey is intended to obtain public input on the alternatives under consideration to address the issues that were identified by the study team.
