4/03/2026
Facilities Daily Report
- Performed general site coordination and preliminary review activities across the Mekoryuk School, gym addition, and teacher housing.
- Conducted roof inspections at the gym addition, identifying storm related damage, locating an active leak and determining that fail exhaust-fan shroud and deteriorated fasteners require removal and patching of the opening.
- Identified siding damage at the teacher housing and noted the likely presence of spare materials onsite but inaccessible due to the amount of snow.
- Coordinated with school administration and maintenance staff to confirm issues and aligned on necessary corrective actions.

- A sample of the existing roofing of the Nuniwarmiut School that was damaged has been received. Working on procurement of matching profile/color.
- May provide initial repair with flat stock metal and circle back to more "permanent repair" once material can be sourced - Nonmatching metal may require re-roof of the entire side damaged.
