Jenkins, Little Soos, and Covington Creeks Flood Studies
The King County Flood Control District and King County prepared updated flood maps for Jenkins, Little Soos, and Covington Creeks. The studies and draft maps were submitted to FEMA for review in summer 2025. Flood maps identify flood risks and can help individuals make decisions that keep themselves, their families, and property safe. Learn more about the draft maps below.

The King County Flood Control District and King County, as service provider, prepared updated flood maps for Jenkins, Little Soos, and Covington creeks. Flood risks change over time and new maps better represent flood hazards to people along the creeks and inform individuals of flood risks to their property.
